Adelaide Estelle Facer

She is finally here!!! Our baby girl joined our little family on November 3rd, 2008. She was 6 lbs 8 oz and 19 inches long. She is absolutely perfect!!! And yes!!! She looks more like me than Bella does! :) It was the most amazing experience yet again- bringing a new little life into this world. Riley and I love having another adorable little girl, and Bella loves to tell everyone about her new sister "Add-laide".

Its all about pink, pink, pink at the Facer household. Not only is this Bella's favorite color, but it will soon be Adelaide's too! Hey, I can't complain. We will take all the bows, blinged pacifiers, and tutus we can get! :) WE LOVE GIRLS!!!

My baby with my baby! Oh....I couldn't love them more! My honey is the cutest dad ever! He does "girl" so well. We won't know what to do with a boy! :)

Can you tell she is just a tad in love with this new little thing? :) She wants to hold Adelaide every second, lay on top of her while I am nursing, squeeze any body part she can get her hands on, steal her blankets when I'm not looking, suck on her pacifier, rock her cradle like a mad

woman, jump into her moses basket...with or without Adelaide inside, climb into her swing, and tells us about 10 times a day "She loves a bella!"

What a life! My snuggy bug wrapped up in her blanket between her three diaper blow-outs this evening. My washing machine is wondering what is going on!

Happy Birthday to my baby girl!!!

I can't believe I have a 2 year old. I am six weeks away from being a mother of two. WOW! But never mind about me. We were so excited to spend a week in Laguna and cherish this time with Bella before Adelaide comes to our family. We had a blast celebrating her birthday at Disneyland! Watching our little girl's eyes light up and see her discover this whole new world of Disney was seriously a proud moment in our parenting journey! She has not stopped talking about Monsters Inc., Mickey Mouse, and the fishy-up-and-down (aka Little Mermaid merry-go-round). We decided to forgo her nap (which I NEVER do!) to get a full days worth of Disney, and Bella took it like a champ! She would not stop for anything and the last thing she said as we were pulling out of the parking garage was a tired "Monsters Inc." and then basically passed out! :) We were so glad to have "Ashy Jon", Kimmy, Maggie, Brig, Tanner and Loggy Bear with us to celebrate! We all had an unforgettable time!

The day before her birthday we dressed her in her b-day gear and went to the beach for a little photo shoot. I have never seen anything cuter than my darling hunny and his baby girl playing on the beach! It was "seriously so cute"! :) Oh, I am so in love with those two! Even though I hate, hate, hate pictures of me in my last trimester, I had to post some of them for those of you who have been giving me a ton of flack for my 6 month absence to the blogging world! So hear is the first of what I hope to be many posts to come!

Spring Fever

OK, So I have not even thought about blogging recently as you can tell. I think its been a month since I even logged in. I was inspired to post after I saw some of your sweet comments that it is time to update :) If only Riley would take a digital scrapbooking class and learn how to do this for me...it would make life so much sweeter! Jon...some help please!

Other than we are expecting again, and we moved into our new house (for the summer)...there is not a whole lot going on! :) I am just going to post some pictures of the past couple months! Enjoy!

NO...Ash and I didn't know we had bought the same swimsuit. Apparently two of my other sisters had bought the same one as well. Guess we all came from the same mother! :)

Easter weekend in St. George with both the families! It was so much fun! Bella loved hangin' with all the cousins!

Bella had so much fun at our "girlfriends" annual easter egg hunt. She really got into the egg hunts this year. Way more fun when they actually know what they are doing.

When I was little, my nickname was Medussa because of my "crazy hair". Bella unfortunately inherited that characteristic of mine. :)

Girls weekend was a blast! Thanks momma for an amazing time! Nothing is better that GNO!

My dancing queen! Bella and I started a "Mommy and Me" dance class. It honestly has been one of the most fun things we have done together. Bella is totally in her element there! :) She is getting quite good at her ballet moves! Seriously!

"Papa" and his Swedish princess. We got this traditional Swedish dress while we were in Sweden this past summer. What an amazing experience for my dad to take us back to his mission and the land of our ancestors. This is papa's favorite outfit of Bella's. He gets the most proud look in his eyes and shows her off to everyone! p.s. Dad, Bella misses being your shadow :)

Welcome to Amargosa Valley, Nevada! Since we only had a few visitors in the two years we lived there...I thought I would show everyone our stomping grounds out in the desert! Don't worry...the "Cherry Patch" brothel was the closest landmark to our house. I didn't even know what a brothel was until I moved there. The vast desert landscape was the scenery out my family room and continued for the next 100 miles or so. The "Fort Amargosa" did have some amazing greasy cheese fries and was always good for some interesting people watching! :)

We honestly do miss it though! Thanks for some great memories "Allagosa"!

Snow Angel

What is all this stuff? Bella didn't quite know what to do when standing in snow for the first time. She sat there stiff for 5 min. while I took pictures. She is wearing a sweater that was mine when I was her age. I honestly hope she does not grow out of it cause I think she looks so cute in it! :)

Fairy Fun

This was the best party I have ever thrown! I've pretty much been in love with fairies for the past 2 years now...and I don't know if it will ever go away...so Bella's 1st birthday party theme came as no surprise! Luckily I have a couple years to come up with cute themes until she wants some hideous McDonalds playland birthday (don't worry...that was my 5 year old birthday party theme). Anyway, all the little girls came decked out in fairy attire and they all looked so adorable! I hope all the moms didn't mind me putting fairy tatoos on their little ones :), because they all looked so cute! Happy Birthday baby girl!!!

This could possibly been the most fun time we had taking family pictures! These were taken by my darling friend (not to mention college roommate) Becky Kimball. We went up to Sundance during the Christmas season and it was such a fun cozy atmosphere to take family pics. We just kept laughing at our beautiful baby girl and all her hilarious faces. She was cracking us all up! I felt like a horrible mother though, putting Bella in a short sleeve blouse. I did have a blanket to wrap her up in between shots, but her nose was bright red at the end of the shoot. I can't wait to get a house to blow up some of these fun pictures. Thanks Becky!!!
